Equipment
Ranged weapons require ammunition equipped in the ammo slot. Crossbows use bolts. Bows use arrows. Equipping the wrong type is blocked.
Damage Split
Your ranged weapon provides accuracy (chance to hit). Your ammo provides damage (how hard you hit). Upgrading both weapon and ammo tier is essential for ranged combat progression.
Running Out
If you run out of ammo mid-combat, your attacks will miss until you re-equip. Keep a healthy supply crafted via Fletching.
