Scrap Crates
Randomized loot crates dropped by monsters — crack them open for rewards.
How to Get Them
Scrap crates are rare drops from defeating monsters, with drop chances ranging from 2% to 15% depending on the monster's rarity tier. Fight more creatures to accumulate crates — volume is the strategy here.
Three Tiers
Battered crates drop from common and uncommon monsters. Reinforced crates come from rare and elite encounters. Signal-Locked crates are exclusive to boss kills. Higher-tier crates contain better possible rolls and access to rarer loot tables.
Opening
Navigate to your Inventory and tap "Open" on a crate. You roll a d20 die — higher rolls yield better results. Possible contents include equipment (up to Epic rarity), fabrication materials, essences, and scrap. Rolling a natural 20 grants a random Legendary item from the boss loot pool — the only way to get legendaries outside of boss fights.
