What They Do
Pheromone Lures are Biosynth consumables that boost the monster spawn rate when you move onto tiles. The effect is time-based — once activated, every tile you enter has a higher chance to spawn monsters until the lure expires. Use them when you want to grind XP, farm loot, or complete bounties faster.
Three Tiers
Minor Pheromone Lure: +25% spawn rate for 5 minutes. Requires Biosynth level 5. Crafted from fungal tissue, spore sacs, and bioluminescent extract.
Potent Pheromone Lure: +50% spawn rate for 10 minutes. Requires Biosynth level 10. Adds neural fiber and stable enhancement materials to the cost.
Apex Pheromone Lure: +100% spawn rate for 15 minutes. Requires Biosynth level 15. Demands neural fiber, resonant enhancement materials, and a spore essence. This doubles your encounter rate — bring enough healing to survive the onslaught.
Strategy Tips
Lures stack with a tile's natural spawn rate, but the effective rate caps at 100%. This means lures are most impactful on low-spawn tiles like grasslands and roads. Pair a lure with an Etched Amplifier or Focus Crystal for maximum farming efficiency — more fights plus boosted rewards. Keep healing consumables stocked before popping a lure. The extra encounters can drain your health quickly if you are underprepared.
