Overview

Fletching is the art of crafting ranged ammunition and bows from timber and metal bars. Arrows are paired with bows for rapid fire, while bolts pair with crossbows for slower but harder-hitting shots.

Resources

Ammo requires timber (for shafts) and bars (for tips). Higher-tier ammo uses higher-tier materials. Bows require timber (for limbs) and biostock (for bowstrings). Each craft cycle produces a stack of ammo.

Ammo System

Equip ammo in the dedicated ammo slot. Each ranged attack consumes one piece. Your weapon determines which ammo type you need — crossbows require bolts, bows require arrows. Ammo tier cannot exceed weapon tier. Higher-tier ammo deals more damage.

Bows vs Crossbows

Bows fire faster but deal less damage per hit — best for sustained DPS. Crossbows fire slower but each bolt hits harder — best for burst damage. Both train the Ranged combat skill and share attack styles.
