Enhancement
Upgrade your equipment with alien compounds — but beware the risk.
What It Does
Enhancement upgrades equipment to +1, +2, +3, and beyond. Each level adds a meaningful stat boost to the item. A +5 weapon is categorically different from a +0 weapon — enhancement turns good gear into exceptional gear.
Materials Required
Enhancement consumes reinforcement materials found across Khael-Vorath: crude, stable, resonant, and primal. Higher enhancement levels demand rarer materials. Gather these from resource nodes, monster drops, and fabrication recipes.
Risk of Failure
Enhancement is not guaranteed. Failed attempts can drop the item by one or two enhancement levels depending on the current level. Starting at +11, there is a separate chance of destruction on failure — the item is lost permanently. Destruction chance increases with level: 2% at +11, scaling to 15% at +15. The odds of success also decrease as enhancement climbs — plan your upgrades carefully.
Stabilizer Modules
Stabilizer modules are consumable items that protect your gear from destruction on a failed enhancement. The item may still lose a level, but it will survive. Always use a stabilizer on high-value items. Replacing a destroyed legendary is significantly harder than finding another module.
